The status of a NUGENIA Honorary Member shall allow having access to the flow of information within NUGENIA as a full member, especially regarding the roadmapping, setting up of priorities and monitoring the project creation process within the open innovation platform.
The Honorary Member can express on behalf of its members its interest and opinion on activities within NUGENIA and report to them.

The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) has been welcomed as Honorary Member of NUGENIA. Out of the JRC’s 7 scientific institutes, the Institute for Energy and Transport (IET, based in Petten, the Netherlands) and the Institute for Transuranium Elements (ITU in Karlsruhe, Germany) will be most involved in the activities of NUGENIA.
CIRTEN is an Interuniversity Consortium for Technological Nuclear Research, constituted in 1994 with an official act subscripted by the Rectors of six Italian Universities. CIRTEN became an Honorary Member in March 2013.
PNB (Pole Nucleaire Bourgogne) is an industrial cluster of companies, research centres, education and training institutions, concentrating full capacity for engineering, design, manufacturing, control and maintenance for the production of nuclear energy. PNB became an Honorary Member in March 2013.
The Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. conducts research, development and demonstration (RD&D) relating to the generation, delivery and use of electricity for the benefit of the public. An independent, nonprofit organisation, they bring together scientists and engineers as well as experts from academia and the industry to help address challenges in electricity.
The European Nuclear Education Network, ENEN, is a non-profit international organisation established on 22 September 2003. The mission of ENEN is the preservation and the further development of expertise in the nuclear fields by higher Education and Training. ENEN became an Honorary Member in April 2015.
The CANDU Owners Group Inc. (COG) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing programmes for cooperation, mutual assistance and exchange of information for the successful support, development, operation, maintenance and economics of CANDU technology. All CANDU Operators in the world are members of COG. COG became an Honorary Member in April 2015.
